Last night I went to the Monthly Beer Tasting at Wine and Beer Westpark (9631 West Broad St, Glen Allen, VA). They sampled eight different beers including some seasonal and some limited edition brews. The group was very friendly and the tasting was a lot of fun. This is definitely a place where everyone knows your name. The tasting is free (although they said they would take my donation if I really wanted to pay). They do hope that you will buy something while you are there, prices range from $5-$15 on the brews that are sampled. They do these samplings the first Wednesday of every month and have other tastings that you can find out about on their Facebook page. Photo credit.
