Sometimes being Thrifty means you have to plan ahead. There are so many great sites that offer daily deals in RVA (links on the side). I have been collecting deals for a few weeks and now I am going to have to start using them. Today, there were two deals that jumped at me. Enjoy.
Groupon: $10 for $20 worth of Pub Fare and Drinks at Big Al's Sports Bar and Grill
This is what I like to see, a Groupon where the drinks are included in the deal. If you are a sports fan or just like Pub Fare, this is the deal for you. I haven't been here yet, but might have to put in on my list. Limit 1 per table, 2 per table of 6 or more. Not valid toward $5 lunches. Tax and gratuity not included. Not valid with other offers.
LivingSocial: $10 for $20 of Food and Non-Alcoholic Drink at Legend Brewery
I am a little bummed that no brews are included in the deal. Why else would you go to Legend if you weren't going to get a brew? Even so, if you order two entrees, or an app and two sandwiches, it makes this deal worth the spend. Remember, tax and gratuity are not included and you must use the entire value in one visit.
