RVA Fat Tuesday

Even though we aren’t on Bourbon Street, there are plenty of Fat Tuesday celebrations going on throughout RVA.  Restaurants are offering drink specials, Cajun cuisine and other entertainment this Tuesday.  Pick you place and get there early for great happy hour specials and free-bees all night long.

From 5-7 enjoy the FREE creole buffet.  Jangling Reinharts on stage from 6-9.  $5 Mardi Gras cocktails: Hurricane, Carnival Cocktail, The Flasher Shooter and Bourbon St. Cocktail.  Beads and other goodies!! No cover!

This month’s exclusive regional menu will be inspired by cuisine from New Orleans.  Enjoy dishes like boiled crawfish $10.95, gumbo $8.95, alligator bites $9.95 and beignets $5.95 all month long.  Silo Effect will be on stage.  Regular Tuesday night Happy Hour special applies: $7 Miller Lite & Coors Light Pitchers or $2 Pints, $6 Bombs.

Join the party with the No BS Brass Band playing from noon to 1:30pm  Chef Nate is making alligator and serving up a traditional crawfish boil with mudbugs, corn on the cob and potatoes.  Celebration runs from 11am to 5pm.

All day every day, they are serving up The Gumbo and Jambalaya as well as King Cake and other New Orleans delicacies. Enjoy a glass of the pride of Louisiana, Abita Beer.  Their neighbor F.W.Sullivan’s will also be celebrating across the street.

The Downtown location will be hosting their regular Tuesday Special, Steal the Glass Night with glassware from New Orleans’ own Abita Brewing Co.
