Thrifty Richmond 2011

I have had so much fun starting the Thrifty Richmond site this year. Thank you to my first handful of readers for your support and interest in the site. As I think about what I want Thrifty Richmond to be in 2011, I have decided to set a new goal for the site. I hope to be the destination for “Grown-Up” activities and events in Richmond with deals thrown in when they are too good to pass up.

To start things off, even before the ball drops, I plan to add a new feature to the site. On the MAIN PAGE, I will post the best Happy Hour deals of the day with links to menu options and details. As the year goes on, I hope to add more and more and eventually list every Happy Hour in the city!

The other new addition to the site is a THRIFTY TIPS page. I will post ideas on how you can have a life and still save money. I hope to share ideas on how to plan a great date night, how to take advantage of daily bargain websites and help you find thrifty gift ideas.

I hope to hear from you this New Year! If you have a Happy Hour or Richmond event that I should include on the site, EMAIL ME! Or if you have tips to include on the Thrifty Tips page, I would love to post them.
