The first Wednesday of every month Richmondmom.com and Skirt Magazine host a women's networking/social event at the Wine Loft (4035 Whittall Way, Glen Allen). I went in December and met some really impressive Richmond women including Kristen and Katy of K&K Designs, Constance of Skirt Magazine and Linda of Burlap and Blue. Every month they choose a charitable organization that receives the $5 per person entry fee and all raffle ticket sales. December was the Hayes Foundation that works to educate about the prevention of SIDS. A glass of wine is $5 and they have free (delicious) food. You do not have to be a Mom to attend and everyone is really welcoming and friendly. Photo credit.
