$10 Tasting – Virginia Wine Week

After a great experience at the Virginia Wine Expo, I am very much looking forward to Virginia Wine Week.  “Love by the Glass” is the slogan for the week celebrating Virginia Wine from March 18 through March 27.  To kick off the week, I am hosting a tasting event at The Tobacco Company Restaurant (1201 E Cary St). For $10, you get to taste 3 wines from Barboursville Vineyards poured by the winemaker.  We will be tasting Pinot Grigio 2009, Chardonnay 2009 and Cabernet Sauvignon 2008.  We will also be sampling bites that can pair with these wines.  A little wine talk and tasting should make for a fun evening starting at 6pm ending at 9pm.  Come by anytime and make sure to say hello!  Photo Credit.
